The Lake in the Hills Police Department is a proud affiliate of the McHenry County Gang Task Force. This multi-agency unit includes law enforcement officers from the Sheriff's Office and other departments located within McHenry County. Officers selected for the task force receive are specialists in gang identification and investigation.
